January 9 POTD
Because I work, I don’t get much time to watch the feeders to see what is coming in. After having about 7 days of snow, I guess the birds were hungry! According to my bird book, it’s a female red-bellied woodpecker! Where’s the red belly? Apparently they were misnamed and the red belly can only be seen if they are tipped up. Anyways, I think it’s pretty cool and they are fun to watch.
